We’ve recently released some new RepoApp Lost Property Software features that allow you to manage your Lost and Found items even easier and quicker.
The new Repoapp lost property software features provide:
• Ability to send email from the Item screen to a Suspected Owner when you find an Item
• Ability to select a Disposition on a Released Item
• Ability to Search by Venue Name
1. Send Email from the Item screen to a Suspect Owner when you find an Item
Emailing the Suspected Owner of a found item should be easy and quick. That’s why we’ve added the ability to quickly email the Suspected Owner without having to enter a claim.
All you need to do is to enter the email address of the Suspected Owner into the corresponding field in the Item Screen. Clicking on the email icon in the top right corner of the Item Screen will open your email client with pre-populated template that you can modify. The receiver field, subject field, and body of the email will automatically fill.
The email template can be easily modified by using the Manage Templates control within Settings. Edit the content and simply click update.
2. Select Dispositions on Released Items & Disposition Reporting
If you prefer to Release an Item without matching it to the Claim, you can easily set up a disposition for the Released Items.
Click on the Item Screen, Pick an Item, Click Release, and Select the corresponding Disposition from the dropdown list.
In the drop down menu you will see four default values which you can manage and edit:
- Returned to the owner
- Auction
- Key Office
- Shredded
To set up and modify the values for your disposition drop down menu, simply use the Manage Dispositions control within Settings. Simply add, delete, or edit that items that appear in the disposition drop down menu.
With the new disposition feature, we have added the Disposition Report. This report shows the count of released items by disposition.
We have also added a disposition column in the Released Items Report.
3. Advanced Search by Venue Name
With an enhanced advanced search, we have added the ability to search for items in a specific Venue.
Click Advanced Search and select the value to search by in the Venue drop down menu:
